Start Silver Soldering Today!

Introducing "Soldering Trifecta"
featuring Kim St. Jean

I'm Kim St. Jean, Jewelry Artist, Designer, and Author. I want to introduce you to my class called “Soldering Trifecta”. Have you ever wanted to try soldering but didn't know where to start? With so many different types of solder, flux, and torches it's easy to feel overwhelmed and not be sure which soldering technique is the most effective for your jewelry making.

Sheet, Wire or Paste...Chip, Stick or Pick...Hard, Medium or Easy...Butane, Acetylene, or dual fuel torch? Are all winners in the case of successful silver soldering, but which one do you use? Well, all 3. In this class I discuss and demonstrate the different types of solder, their application and their uses. You will be given the opportunity to experiment with all of them, and also be given constructive instruction and guidance while making a sterling silver chain, charm and toggle.

After this class you will have a better understanding of silver solder, its use and function so that you will be ready for any task or class instructors preference you encounter in your jewelry making journey. In this class you'll also discover how to work with different metals & mixed metals as well as which tools I recommend for soldering.

Whether you've been soldering for years or you've never touched a torch, I know you'll discover something new in my upcoming course. I really want to help you feel comfortable with your soldering technique and I'm very excited to be able to share my experience with you.

We priced this series of classes so that everyone can afford to take some time for yourself and enhance your soldering skills, the best part is you can watch it again on-demand whenever you want and as often as you want.

I know you'll love this method of jewelry making as much as I do!!
