You'll be amazed at how much you can convey with just a few jewelry making techniques!
Sterling Silver Bezel Cup Dangle Earrings
With our pre-made bezel cups, you'll be able to set a stone in no time. This let's your imagination run wild while you focus on the true beauty of your design without getting bogged down in the technicalities of bezel-making.
Next, you'll bring your design to life by soldering the pre-made bezel cup onto your earring base ensuring that your cabochon stays securely in place.
Then, it's time to add some personality to your earrings. With wire coiling, you can add a touch of whimsy and elegance to your design while using double coiling as the perfect embellishment to make your earrings pop.
Lastly, to truly make your creation shine, Kim will teach you how to wrap a stone on the end, adding the perfect finishing touch.
No Solder Top Drilled Pear Beaded Earrings
No soldering is needed for this one-of-a-kind design that will showcase your unique style.
First, you'll discover how to paddle and shape metal to create a stirrup that will securely hold a bead.
Then, using top drilled stones, you will carefully hammer the ends and wire it all together with the beads. This process will require skill and precision, but the end result will be absolutely breathtaking.
Kim also discusses the process of looping, an essential technique, that will give your earrings a professional and polished look.
Finally, you will make a separate ear wire that perfectly complements the rest of the design.
Make Your Own Bezel Faceted Drop Earrings
In this project you'll be giving a faceted stone the perfect home by creating a stepped bezel that will snugly embrace the stone and make it stand out even more.
You'll start by cutting two pieces of sheet metal and shaping them in a way that creates a step-like structure that we solder together.
Then, to make the earring truly stand out, you'll add a chunky 14 gauge square wire that will add an edgy and bold touch to the design.
You'll also give it a little twirl to add some movement and personality, and then solder the wire onto the end of a thick square wire to create another unique set.
Sterling Silver Earrings In A "Snap"
In this project, you'll add some more variety by selecting your preferred metal shape from sterling silver.
Once you have your shape, Kim will show you how to take a pre-made snap set prong basket and solder it onto the sheet.
With the snap set prong in place, you'll be able to snap the faceted stone right in, adding a captivating sparkle that will take your breath away.
Kim also teaches you how to attach the ear wire through soldering, utilizing a different technique to craft the perfect ear wire for your one-of-a-kind earrings.
Box Of Beads Earrings
First, you'll create, solder, and work harden a box that will house your beads.
You'll then use a single wire that will go all the way through the earring, providing a secure foundation for your masterpiece.
You'll also add texture to your box, giving it a unique character that sets it apart from any other earring. Then, you'll draw a bead on the end of your wire and run it through the box, adding a touch of elegance to your creation.
Finally, you'll create your ear wire using the same wire that holds your beads. This will ensure that your earring is cohesive and visually stunning.
Negative Space Out Of Shapes Earrings
First, you're going to take any shape you choose and turn it into something extraordinary.
You'll also be able to solder on any shape of ring you desire, creating a beautiful unique detail that will make your earring stand out from the crowd.
Next, to give your earring a sense of depth and dimension, you're going to use some sawing techniques to create negative space within the earring.
Finally, you'll solder the ear wire right onto the piece and with the added negative space your earring becomes even more interesting and visually appealing.
Design With What You Have Sterling Silver Pendant
In this bonus project you'll be using more gallery wire and Kim will show you how to create cabochon settings while soldering on little components to make your piece unique.
With a snap set technique, you will also be able to securely set your stones, for a show-stopper of a pendant. You will also use gallery wire as an embellishment to give your piece a touch of elegance.
Finally to complete your pendant, you will cut out a little bail and then cold connect it on ensuring that your bail is strong and sturdy.

Who Is Kim St. Jean?
Following ten years as a public school teacher, Kim combined her love of teaching with her creative talents and began teaching jewelry classes.
Mostly self-taught, but with silversmithing mentorship from Dan Haga along the way, she now has been teaching jewelry classes for nearly twenty years.
She is an award winning instructor, author and jewelry designer. Kim has been published in numerous magazines and books. She has appeared on several beading and craft television programs, and has written three books: "Mixed Metal Mania", "Metal Magic", and "Colorful Wired Jewelry".
Kim was elected one of the Top Ten Instructors in the country by the attendees and staff of the Bead and Button show. Kim has also filmed over twenty stone setting videos for WireJewelry.com.
